Dear friends,
I’m writing with some news I’ve been excited to share. Four new books of mine have just landed, and I wanted you to be among the first to hear about them.
They cover different ground, though they share the same thread: how we live well together, how faith shapes public life, and how grace meets us in our hardest places. Here’s a quick look at each one.
Born, Not Built: God’s Children in an Age of AI
A clear-eyed guide for Christians thinking through what AI means for faith, family, and the church. I draw on Scripture, theology, and the latest developments in AI to show how ancient Christian truths still speak today. Includes discussion questions for every chapter and a plain-language glossary of AI terms.

Advance Australia Fairer: Towards Justice, Belonging, and the Common Good
A book for Australians of every worldview and religion who believe this country can be kinder, more generous, and more just. It draws on First Nations wisdom, faith traditions from across the spectrum, and secular humanism, and features eighty-four real Australian stories of courage, solidarity, and hope. Written for community leaders, educators, people of faith, and anyone who loves this country and believes we can do better.

Kingdom or Empire? Following Jesus in an Age of Nationalism, Populism, and Political Idolatry
The book I’ve felt most compelled to write in recent years. It speaks to Christians who’ve allowed nationalism, flag, and cultural dominance to eclipse their loyalty to Christ, and to Christians who’ve allowed accommodation to dilute the radical claims of the gospel. The kingdom Jesus proclaimed gathers people from every tribe and tongue into a community marked by justice, mercy, humility, and self-giving love.

Unshackled: Breaking Addiction’s Chains Through God’s Grace
The most personal book I’ve ever written. On 23 July 2025, I celebrated twenty years sober. This book tells that story and offers theological depth and practical wisdom for anyone walking the road to recovery, or supporting someone who is. It’s designed for personal devotion, small groups, recovery programs, and pastoral training, with reflection questions and six substantial appendices for sponsors, mentors, and group leaders.

If any of these speak to your situation or someone you know, I’d be grateful if you’d pass them on, leave a short review on Amazon, or recommend them to a book club, small group, or colleague who might find them useful. Word of mouth from people I trust makes the biggest difference.
Thank you, as always, for your friendship and support. It means a great deal.
Warmly,
Graham
