The Bible Reading Plan
This Bible Reading Plan shows you how to read the entire Bible, exploring each chapter’s themes in depth.
Each day you will read a chapter or set of verses and the devotional book dedicated to the book of the Bible you’re reading and you can tune into the accompanying Daily Devotions with Jesus podcast episode.
Tips for Staying on Track
1. Keep the Goal in Mind: The goal is to grow ever more deeply in love with Jesus and follow him with every fiber of your being and in every area of your life.
2. Set a Specific Time: Dedicate a specific time of the day to read and listen to the podcast episode.
3. Reflect and Pray: Take time to reflect on the chapter or set of verses and pray.
4. Keep a Journal: Note down your thoughts or insights from each day’s reading.
5. Seek Understanding: If a chapter or set of verses are difficult to understand, consider consulting the Daily Devotions with Jesus devotional book dedicated to the book of the Bible you’re reading.
6. Stay Committed: It’s a long journey but staying committed will be rewarding.
7. Explore the Bible with Others: Discussing the Bible and devotions in groups can help keep you on track and make your experience more rewarding.
8. Go Gentle on Yourself: If you miss a day, go gentle on yourself. You can pick up reading tomorrow. Grace is at the heart of our relationship with Jesus.
