This series of films with Jo Saxton, Grace Ji-Sun Kim, Mandy Marshall, Karina Kreminski, Carol Kingston-Smith, Melba Padilla Maggay,  Ruth Padilla DeBorst, Amy Williams, René August, Lisa Rodriguez Watson, Amal Nassar, and Rosalee Velloso Ewell, is on transforming society and neighborhoods.

In this 12-session film series, these women guide us through a vision of justice, peace, welcome, and reconciliation, and of transforming society and neighborhoods. Each of the 12 films comes with small group study guides, to help your church and small group wrestle with issues and apply the insights. You can also listen to them as podcasts.

In Part 1, Jo Saxton, Grace Ji-Sun Kim, Mandy Marshall, Karina Kreminski, Carol Kingston-Smith, & Melba Padilla Maggay lead us through a vision of our role in transforming society. They talk about how we can empower all women, create missional churches and disciples, end violence against women and children, address gender inequalities and injustices, pursue justice and reconciliation, be peacemakers, and transform society.

PART 2: TRANSFORMING NEIGHBORHOODS & COMMUNITIES

In Part 2, Ruth Padilla DeBorst, Amy Williams, René August, Lisa Rodriguez Watson, Amal Nassar, & Rosalee Velloso Ewell guide us through ways we can transform and love our neighborhoods and communities. They talk about how we can pursue loving and Christ-honoring hospitality, bring hope to (and be transformed by) urban youth, welcome undocumented neighbors and refugees, discover bonds of community and connection, pursue peacemaking and reconciliation (between religions and ethnicities), and dwell deeply in neighborhoods and communities and friendships.
