Welcome to My Author & Ministry Website
The official website for all books, sermons, articles, and resources from Rev Dr Graham Joseph Hill (OAM PhD)
“Graham Joseph Hill is one of the finest missional scholars in the world, and the only one dedicated to making the work of Christians in the Global South (Majority World) known to the West, and also one of the only ones who describes the work of others with meticulous care and fairness. When I think of world theologians today I think of Graham – and I don’t say that lightly. Yes, there are more famous scholars but there are none doing his admirable and noble work of mediating the voices of those who have been silenced by not being in the places of power. The work he has done, too, with defending women in ministry is singularly clear and effective, and my own students have found this new book of his most helpful. If I could invite one person to my school to be a professor of missional theology, it would be Graham Joseph Hill. No rivals for me.”

GRAHAM’S LATEST BOOK
SUNBURNT COUNTRY, SWEEPING PAINS
Asian immigration is transforming the Australian church and society. Sunburnt Country, Sweeping Pains shares the stories of Asian Australian women as they experience inequality, racism, sexism, and stereotypes in ministry and mission. These women also talk about the joy and meaning they find in serving God’s church and world.
In this book, Graham examines 21,987 NCLS surveys, 36 detailed surveys, and 15 in-depth interviews with Asian Australian Christian women. These women share their stories of discrimination and efforts to bring change. They also offer proposals for a more equal, fair, and just Australian church. With Forewords by Grace Lung and Hannah Hyun, an Afterword by Grace Ji-Sun Kim, and research support by Jessie Hampe (Jessie Giyou Kim).
